EGG TART for Hi-Tea


Want to make a simple and delicious hi-tea for your family and friends? Here I want to share with you a very simple recipe that you can make it by yourself without anyone's help :)

Ingredients

For a dough (butter pastry) :
140g of butter
1/2 of an eggs
70g of icing sugar
200g of plain flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

For the egg fillings :
140g of sugar
300ml of water
4 eggs
80ml of full cream evaporated milk

Method 

STEP 1
mix the butter pastry ingredient and knead it until it becomes a dough.

STEP 2
to make the egg filling firstly what you need to do is you need to boil the water and sugar (do not stir it) and then leave the sugar water to cool.

STEP 3
When the dough is ready, press the pastry into the moulds and press it with your two thumbs. Tidy up the edges with your index fingers.Be sure that the edges must be slightly higher that the tin.

STEP 4
After the sugar water has completely cool down, mix the eggs and milk into the sugar water. Sift the
mixture.

STEP 5
Pour the eggs filling into the tart. 80% full and bake immediately.

STEP 6
Bake at 200 for 15 to 20 minutes. Place the egg tarts at the middle rack for baking. The egg tarts is ready when the toothpick can stand upright. Let the egg tart cool down a bit.

STEP 7
Take the tarts out of the tin. (They should come out easily). Thats it!
